Virtual Care is a convenient option for patients who want to discuss health concerns that don’t require being physically present. During a virtual nutrition counseling appointment, you’ll connect with a dietitian nutritionist (registered dietitian), who can help you achieve your personal goals through nutrition coaching or, when appropriate, nutrition counseling. During a Virtual Visit, you’ll see a healthcare provider to discuss lifestyle choices and habits that impact your overall health, manage chronic (but well-controlled) conditions such as hypertension or allergies, or simply renew your prescriptions.
What to Expect
At The Little Clinic, our vision is to help our patients live healthier lives. We're committed to simplifying healthcare by creating solutions that combine health, wellness and nutrition, connecting with patients on an emotional and personal level. Virtual Visits are an example of such a solution. With a Virtual Visit, you can expect to receive the same high-quality healthcare as delivered in person at a clinic. The two-way video chat allows you to work with a provider from the comfort of your home or from your smartphone.
During the Virtual Visit, one of our licensed healthcare providers will discuss your health concerns and employ appropriate virtual care modalities. The healthcare provider will ask you relevant questions related to your chief complaint and complete assisted examination techniques, as appropriate. If during your Virtual Visit it’s determined that further in-person testing or follow-up care is warranted for your specific health condition, your Virtual Visit provider will facilitate a follow-up appointment at one of our convenient clinic locations. Our Virtual Care providers are trained and highly capable of diagnosing and treating many of the same health conditions we see in-clinic via virtual care. However, if you need a physical appointment or vaccination, it’s better to schedule an in-clinic visit rather than a Virtual Visit. Consider a Virtual Visit for your next healthcare need to experience this high-quality and convenient service!
Virtual Healthcare Visits are available in select states only: AZ, KY, OH, TN, CO, IN, GA, KS, and VA.
