Preferred Medicare Plans

If you’re enrolled in Medicare Part A and/or Medicare Part B, you may be able to save money on your prescription drugs. Medicare Part D prescription drug plans help pay for both brand-name and generic drugs, which aren't covered by Original Medicare. If you intend to ever join a Medicare Part D plan, it’s important to sign up when you’re first eligible to avoid late enrollment fees that you'll have to pay for the entire time you have Part D. Read more about the Medicare Part D late enrollment penalty to see if it applies to you.

What Drugs are Covered by Medicare Part D?

Medicare Part D covers self-administered prescription drugs, which aren’t covered by Medicare Part B. This includes most drugs in certain protected classes, such as those used to treat cancer or HIV/AIDS. Each Part D plan covers specific prescription medications, which are listed in the plan's drug formulary.

We are a preferred pharmacy for Medicare Part D plans offered by a broad network of insurance companies. This means we offer prescriptions to plan members at discounted prices, so your co-payment could be as low as $0* when you fill your prescription at one of our Pharmacies. You can view our full list of preferred plans above.
