Landmark Overlook Pinot Noir California Red Wine
Product Details
Rooted in a rich history of agriculture, Landmark Vineyards was founded by Damaris Deere Ford, the great-great-granddaughter of John Deere, inventor of the steel plow. While originally established as a Chardonnay house, in the early 90's Damaris and her team began their first foray into Pinot Noir with the release of the inaugural Grand Detour Pinot Noir. Today, Landmark's portfolio features an array of handcrafted, ultra-premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourcing grapes from unique vineyard sites throughout California in order to create rich, balanced wines.
The 2016 Overlook Pinot Noir Light is medium-bodied with slightly more black fruit such as cherry and ripe raspberry fruit and baking spice on entry leading to a savory, crisp mid-palate.
