The KitchenAid 6-Quart Slow Cooker is ideal for cooking family-sized meals or large cuts of meat, such as roasts, tenderloins and racks of ribs. The 24-hour programmability feature gives the user the control to select any temperature, for any length of time (in 30-minute increments) in a 24-hour period. This slow cooker features 4 temperature settings, offering the ability to choose the right temperature for any recipe. LOW is commonly used for 8+ hours; MEDIUM, 6-8 hours; and HIGH, 4-6 hours. The KEEP WARM feature serves two purposes. Once the cooking time is complete the KEEP WARM function automatically defaults for 4 hours. The KEEP WARM function can also be selected for up to 24 hours, perfect for serving over long periods of time. The illuminated Easy-To-Read Digital display ensures easy viewing of the remaining cook time and temperature while in use.
