DIY Rosemary Lemon Salt Scrub

Salt scrub in mason jar next to white rose and rosemary

Okay, so I have to admit I haven’t tried many salt scrubs and was excited to make one of my own after reading how easy they are. I'm one for a simple DIY project, and this couldn’t have been any easier and quicker to make. I chose lemon and rosemary because I love how clean both scents are. Immediately after making it, I rubbed some over the back of my hand and I was so surprised at how soft my skin felt once I rinsed it off. Bath time has a whole new meaning now! Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Zest from 1 lemon
  • Juice from 2 lemons
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1¾ cups salt (you can use Epsom or sea salt)

Directions:

  1. Add the salt to a mixing bowl and add the juice and zest from your lemons.
  2. Add olive oil and mix the ingredients.
  3. Finely chop the rosemary leaves and add to the mixture.
